How to add a tower freq to an airport?

Recommended Posts

In one of the X-Plane towered airport, the tower frequency is missing in the Pilot2ATC database.  Therefore it is treating it as untower airport. Is there a way to add tower frequency to the database Pilot2ATC is using? Or is there a functionality to allow P2A to read this data from .apt file in X-Plane similar to how it reads taxi info?

P2A gets Controller and Frequency information from the AIRAC data.  If X-Plane is on the same AIRAC level, there shouldn't be a discrepancy, unless X-Plane is using outdated data.  What airport are you referring to?

This is interesting.  The airport in this case is VGEG.

If I look up the chart in Navigraph https://charts.navigraph.com/airports/VGEG/12-1 it shows frequence 118.4 is both as approach and tower.

However P2A doesn't recognize it as tower.

This appears to be a data issue as the Navigraph data shows 118.4 as Approach.  I will raise this with the Navigraph team.

Thanks,

Dave
