Suggestion for flight plan

Recommended Posts

Hi Alex

I believe that a popular EFB has the function to create a runway extension for arrivals and/or departures of either 3, 5 or 8 miles from the end of the runway. You can then import this into the flight plan. I know that with LNM you can just drag your flight plan line to create a waypoint but I was wondering if it is feasible to automate it like in the EFB (with maybe an option to create your own set distance). That way you get a set distance every time, maybe helpful in calculating your decent. Just a suggestion. If it's too hard, please ignore.

BTY, it also gives you a profile view with your glide path showing your aircraft position relative to the guide path. very neat.

Thanks

John

Hi John,

already on the list for 2.4: https://github.com/albar965/littlenavmap/issues/307

The idea is to view the profile, ILS GS and PAPI slope without a procedure. Maybe I just allow the user to select the approach RW to show VASI and ILS and let him add the waypoints manually. Have to see.

Alex

Alex, I forgot to mention that I am one of your beta testers. Let me know when 2.4 is ready for testing and I will give this new feature a good try out and report back to you.

Regards

John
