This time I want to fly along the beautiful Aleutian Islands. In the real world you are greeted most of the time with less than favorite weather conditions. Luckily we can influence this in our sim, so that we have a chance to enjoy the scenery 😉

Bernd: Excellent pictures with nice mix of green and white (and very effective adaptation of source photoscenery)! BTW, when you say, "In the real world you are greeted...", is that from your own RL travel experience, or just a general remark...?

I think I've touched (or at least overflown.....) most of the contiguous 48, but, Alaska is one state, I've never come close in RL...maybe one day...Thanks for posting.

Great pics, I only saw the Aleutians once, but at FL350 as I was crossing the ocean between SFO and Narita on a cloudy flight.  The clouds broke just at the right time for me to see the Aleutians below surrounded by a gray Pacific.

Actually it's both, P_7878. I have flown on UA quite a few times from LA via Narita into SE Asia in the 80s, 90s and 00s. But I have never been able to catch a glimpse of the Aleutian Islands
