No airport file?

Hi Nico,

with the latest versions something weird is happening. PSXSeecon can't read the airport files in the parked_updates folder. I tried with several airports and I've always got the [airport] no airport file? error that prevents the program to work correctly, so that no aircraft's shown.

If I move the xml file (or simply rename it) it works correctly but I obviously lose all my parked aircraft and I've to begin all from scratch at that airport.

Any ideas?

Could you post a Log.txt of a session in which you get that error message?

I read the log.txt and it seems that all the airports in the parked_updates folder miss the latitude and longitude parameters. They worked fine since the last updates of PSXSeecon. I think I'll have to rebuild them all.

Yes (the later versions of) PSXseeconTraffic need the lat/lon of the airport in order to build up a list of the airports you have and to find out the nearest from where you are.

You should indeed run PPG again. Do know that for your airports with real live additions it is not so difficult to copy the two lat/lon parameters from the new file in the Airports folder to the existing file in parked updates. Then you do not loose that real live info.

You do not even need to run PPG again, the files in Airports are already ok, just copy the parameters for the files you find important.

Note that you should also fix the problems with aircraft that could not be created.

That's another thing that worked since last updates. Now I have many aircrafts that could not be created, but they always worked. Like E190 AZA, never had a problem with that but now I see Azul or JetBlue liveries instead of AZA. 

I ran AIL Generator and I have so many errors that weren't there before. Need to investigate further on that.

That's not very likely. AILG has not changed for at least two years.

Are  you talking about live or static parked aircraft?

Live aircrafts. Today at LIML every E170 or E190 AZA had another livery, even if they're correctly set in the xml file.

Anyway I deleted all the UTLive liveries and used other models for Alitalia Embraer.

Aircraft that cannot be created is not a PSXseeconTraffic issue. It is a fault in the installation of the aircraft in your simulator.
