Where to install Ground Traffic

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

I new to the Avsim forum and I don't mean to be putting this in the wrong place. I could not find a FAQ section. I have X-Plane 11.3. I am trying to organize my .ini scenery file as you instruct in the Understanding Scenery Order.  i should tell you I am from the pre-computer era, and am fairly IT impaired and don't understand much of the computer language, so simple words and short sentences help!!!

I understand how to arrange the airport scenery packs, and know the orthophotos go at the bottom, as indicated in the picture diagram in the article. When a scenery pack, such as KBOS by MisterX6, where does the folder entitled "GroundTraffic City" go? Is that an overlay and should be put lower with other overlays,  or should it be put right under the airport scenery pack? Do I separate the individual parts of the package and put such things as city, bridges, landmarks, etc. lower in the order or keep packages altogether?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Welcome to the AVSIM forums!  Yes, you did post in the wrong place so I moved you into the X-Plane general discussion area.
