How can I stop Scenery database building every time?

Recommended Posts

I get this every time I open P3D it started with installing MSE but I've just deleted them all from within P3D but still get this every load.

I've deleted the config

and deleted SceneryIndexes_64

What can I do to solve this, please?

David, are you using FTX Central in between sessions? It'll force a regeneration of scenery indices after each use of that tool.  Any other tool that re-orders scenery layers or injects new layers will cause this as well. I don't know if SimStarter would cuase this, but it might if you've configured it to inject specific layers each time you use it to launch P3D.

I have MSE photoscenery layers but don't experience this issue.

HI Wayne, thanks for your thought.

No, don't open Orbx at all unless I have to and don't use SimStarter.

I've been looking at my Reliability in action center and every time I close P3D even though it does not crash on exit it reports a "5bfdbb3" "KERNELBASE.dll"

Also since the last Friday out of no were had 3 ucrtbase.DLL. CTD.

Think its time for a full re-install and move up to 4.5

Hi David,

Sorry no clue but its not MCE i can tell. Why have you deleted them?
