Problem with SODE jetways

I have a problem in that my SODE jetways are just not appearing in P3Dv4.5, having installed the latest version.

Two issues I've noted that if I open the SODE platform manager and register SODE, it allows me to so this, but if I close it and re-open it reverts back to being not registered.

The other issue I have is that in my C:/ProgramData/12bPilot/SODE i have a SimObjects folder  containing all my addons with jetway models within. There is also a xml folder containing a xml file for each airport, however my sim does not seem to recognise or find either of these folders?

Any suggestions?

Hello, the only thing that i can recommend is to open de SODE platform Manager every time you begin with Prepar3d. Dont close the platform until finish flight. For me, this solution is good!

I am wondering if they are supposed to be enabled as addons?

The question is why does the SODE dll stop working?  I and most others have had no problem with SODE after P3D updates.  I don't use the platform manager except during SODE updates, the P3D Addon menu for SODE provides an ability to check and make connection.  If that is missing then the dll is not being loaded.  SODE is typically entered as an addon in the programdata add-on.cfg file.

I've checked my addon-ons.cfg and there is this entry -

I've also just tried to open Lorby's Addon organiser and see this message - 

Invalid or broken packages (=add-on.xml) detected :

C:\Program Files (x86)\12bPilot\SODE\P3Dv4

Looking a bit closer, I've gone into my C:\Users\Ian\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons folder. I see every folder has an XML file called add-on except the SODE folder. No sure what has happened or if I have accidentally deleted it, but that is probably a factor. How do I generate a new one?

You should be able to run the SODE installer and let it replace that file for you.  The add-on.cfg entry tells P3D where to look for the xml file and for SODE it is at Program Files (x86)\12bPilot\SODE\P3Dv4 and not in the documents area.  By the way, this is exactly how the SDK recommends addon developers add their products.

One more thing...make sure that there are no references to SODE in the two dll.xml files nor in the two exe.xml files...older versions of SODE installed using those loading mechanisms, and if it attempts to load multiple copies of the program it causes problems.

I had a problem a while back where I had two different versions of SODE trying to load.
