Ok so I have tested AM 85

a little smoother thou slightly slower texture loading 

 

no AM all cores running P3d 

faster texture loading thou slight stuttering 

thoughts?

Put all your addon on the threads so nothing but P3D is running on the cores. If you run all your add-ons on the same cores(AM 85) you will have problems. Splitting them up is the key.

Try an AM of 254.  That gives you more scenery loading cores..

FPS in the sim set to Unlimited for starters. Vsync=off.

Witchcraft?  But...but...your Avatar!!  😜

Letting the system handle things is certainly an option, but in my experience that's best done with HT disabled.

Just keep the addons off Core0 and 1..

when you try HT off, do not use this AM!

So with ht off no AM used ? And where do addons get assigned to?

Core 0 only?

I would imagine running addons on everything BUT Core 0. I also have 4790k with HT off but I just run everything on everything. I don't mess with AM and assigning cores anymore since I never really noticed any real difference that couldn't be just a placebo.

BTW, you say you have 4.7GHZ with HT on. What kind of CPU cooler are you using?

On my network computer also use a 4770k beheaded with water cooling (Costum) @ 5GHZ without thermal problems
On my sim calculator a 8700K 5.2 GHZ also beheaded and water cooled. The highest temperature reached is 65 degrees.

I have a h110i 

but my sim is setup in the basement where it’s pretty cool.
