GTN trainer crashes P3D

Recommended Posts

Hi Jean-Luc,

Only now I was able to test your suggestions. First of all, it appeared I had not upgraded to version 2.5.18. After I did that I tried following the checklist of the Bonanza. The sim crashed when I started the avionics master, Thereafter I disabled Shadin Fuel Data Computer and Shadin Air Data in the ini file. After that following the checklist and turning on the avionics worked; the GTN started normally. Then I reverted to having Shadin Fuel Data Computer and Shadin Air Data enabled to check if these really were the culprit. After this however the GTN still started normally... Hmmm

For now the problem has disappeared. If it returns in the future I'll try adjusting the shadin settings again.

Cheers, Bert

Ok,

This might be a corrupted value stored in the non volatile file then.

You might want to try disabling one after the other in the future if this happens again, starting with the Shadin Air Data first, and the Shadin Fuel second.
