Mathijs could have simply written that AS has no part in it , like John V.

Mathijs Kok: We have absolutely nothing to comment or say about this. Sorry.

That says it all really. N.D.A.

Yup, nothing is quite as official as something that's been offically denied.  😜

Of course, I could say that exact same thing... and then you'd think I was under NDA and knew more... but.... am I? Do I?

He unlocked the thread that was already locked with no further explanation to say that.

This and also the AS (Aerosoft?!) on the registrations of the aircrafts. LOL

But again, right now we are just having some fun trying to guess things, nothing to take too serious.

We will have no comment on whether we will either confirm or deny the existence of a supposed agreement to enter into an agreement to not disclose something which we may or may not be involved with regarding a company which we will not comment on. 😁

I find this so funny.

Trust me when I say, no developers in the flying sim community has or had any idea of this coming out.

And at this stage we are still unclear if MS will or not provide some sort of SDK to allow us to develop for this simulator, even if they do, we don't even know how deep or not the SDK could be.

Now think about, the product is still under development, it means even if they wish to provide some sort of SDK it cannot be completed and available to anybody to develop for this.

Therefore, Mathis statement is quite accurate, there is nothing to say about it as nobody has a clue about at this stage. You guys are reading too much into it.

Simbol.

Don’t agree with you on this one. AS has stated several years back that they were developing their own Flightsim, which then died a silent dead...

Mathijs is making Fog while a simple “No, we have nothing to do with it “ would be quiet accurate .... if that was the case.. 🤨

I don't trust you :)

There were external developers involved in FS9 and FSX, long before any official SDK existed. FSDT made the F/A-18 for instance, and I know people who made scenery, coded gauges and lots of other stuff, that weren't members of ACES. But even to this day very few of them speak of their involvement in writing because Microsoft's legal department is not something you want to mess with.

That being said - nobody knows who knows except for those who do.

The Airbus cockpit shot in the MS2020 teaser video isn't even the Aerosoft Professional so I don't see why everyone thinks it's Aerosoft. The ND displays don't even move when the plane is pushed back from the gate.

Correct, I am glad to see someone else catching these little details 😉.

Surely you will not see FSX/XP/P3D aircraft in the new Sim. It is a little bit naive to think that.

This is a new engine so none of our “simple” AC will work. This is far more advanced ...
