Pre buy question

Recommended Posts

LS,

Considering the purchase 750 for XP11, but like to know:

1. Is the 750 fit to fly IFR on IVAO/Vatsim? Asking because I understand there are no regular updates like Navigraph etc?

2. Does the 750 screen pop up like the f.i. Avitab?

grz. Paul

Hi,

There is no restriction to where you fly with the GTN.

There is no DB update service offered but the GTN ships with a fairly recent DB (1803) and most of it is very similar to the current in practice. Otherwise there are means to update the database and I'd suggest you start with the 'recommended' posts at the top of the dedicated discussion:

As for the presentation, you can popup the gauge window, pop it out too (XP11), and display a window in VR as well. In addition, you can embed the gauge rendering to the 3D cockpit ( any available area in the panel.png ) like described in the GNS B58 tutorial:
