How will 2D handle multiple screen ratios?

Recommended Posts

That is, indeed, great news. It's always been very annoying having to deal with the cockpit panels and the aircraft textures. Now, being free of those distractions, I can finally get down to some serious flying.Doug

Yes, the 2D gauges are somewhat ovoid, but it works. Gauges are round in the VC, and you have a wider field of view.I didn't realize that the 2D "working" in widescreen meant it wouldn't be distorted.

You buy everyone on the Eaglesoft Team a nice, widescreen monitor, we'll be delighted to provide 16:9 alternate panels just for you! ;)Thanks, but I've already invested nearly $15,000 in hardware and software development tools, I can't afford a wide-screen monitor right now... :-wave

E.g. if your screen is 1280x1024 just use the 1280x720 part of it ;)Now, get back to work on my shiny new widescreen panel Cirrus will you?Regards,
