Garbled GTN750 map screen on the realair turbine duke

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

Im having this weird issue and only happens with the realair turbine duke: The GTN750 screen becomes garbled, but only on the map screen. It also happens with the 650. Look at here:

This is in P3D 4.5. All addons in their latest versions.

What can that be?

Strange... Flight1 or RXP?

Is the popup GTN also affected?

Hi Bert!

This is the Flight1 unit and the popup is fine, the problem only happens with the VC unit.

Upon further examination i have noticed that the screen becomes garbled only if its showing a body of water like the sea or a lake. if im panning in the continental US everything looks fine until i reach the sea or a lake. The part that becomes garbled is only the part showing water.

In the screenshot you can see that while the part showing land is fine, the section of the map showing water is garbled.

Is it possible that this actually is an electrical failure of system(s) in your plane, have you got realism setting set. I don't know I'm wildly guessing.

Never ever seen nor heard of this before.
