Strange water textures over Lake Erie

Recommended Posts

I have this strange texture showing up in Lake Erie.  It looks like missing water textures but only on parts of the lake.  I have Ultimate Terrain X, FTX Global and Open LC.  If I go into the UTX setting tool and turn off the water bodies, the whole lake looks like these block textures in the picture. So it is kind of like UTX is not working along the shoreline.  This issue shows up all along the coast, but only one side of the lake.  Any thoughts?

'If you use third party landclass with UTX it needs to be sandwiched between the UTX layers in the scenery library.

Thanks for that.  I tried it but it didn't make a difference.  I did, however, remember that I had turned off the UTX landclass - I likely did that when I got FTX OpenLC thinking that they would be redundant.  I turned it back on and the block along the coast is still there, but now has some texture to it.

I've had this for a while....here is how it looked this past winter, only on the south shoreline of the lake.  I have only seen this on the Great Lakes, not on the ocean.

Seems like UTX thinks it should be land and Prepar3d or FTX thinks it should be water??
