And along came REX.

Recommended Posts

They've finally stated unequivically that they're making an XP version of their latest "Sky Force'.  Not this year but hopefully 2020 - described as a partial version (this could be a deal breaker) so we'll have to wait to see what's on offer.

They are years late imho.

Volumetric or noise generated clouds are the future for me, i hope in the future (but i doubt it) they will turn to those like xEnviro did and the incoming Microsoft Flight Simulator, Flight Sim World, Il2 Sturmovik, Outerra etc etc

REX are good but they dont have a big team and they have so many products they usually take some time to release. So even 2020 I would take with a pinch of salt.

The last thing X-plane needs is REX coming over and providing products that haven't even been fully-functional in P3D yet.  X-plane has it's own problems as it is, there's no room for another developer who is going to produce something that is half-broken and string users along for months/years that kinks are being worked out, blah blah blah.

John your words are harsh and frankly uncalled for.  If you have issues with REX I wish you would address them with me personally:  rstough@rexgamestudios.com.

So I am assuming the mods censored his 'over-sensitive moderator' post but did not delete his harsh post?
