Hello, finally joined as a member. I have been lurking on these forums for years but have finally decided to get involved!

I have been flightsimming for around 10 years beginning with FSX and now mostly with P3D v4 and I do dabble with Xplane. I love flying heavy metal long haul and spending hours studying complex aircraft :). I am a software developer by trade and a massive geek! I am super excited about a possible new simulator from Microsoft and this has really inspired me to get involved with new converstaion and reignited my passion for flight sim.

Looking forward to adding some value and getting to know everyone.

Welcome ! Your read Avsim ToS, right ? You have to leave at the door blunt, pointed or sharp objects 😇  !  Also, a little humour and a thick skin might help you to survive.

There is no requirement here for you to use your given name unless you choose to.

Unless there is a requirement in other commercial add-on areas of AVSIM then I believe the only"must sign real name" came from the PMDG area, which, now that it has gone user-to user means that as Rick says - no need for given names.
