Milano Malpensa (Aerosoft) OR Linate (JetStream Design)?

Recommended Posts

Hi Mates,

I need an airport at Milano where I can take off from or land to with my 777.

I am hesitating between Malpensa (Aerosoft) and Linate (JetStream Design).

I don't care about PBR, lighting and alike, I just need good textures and design. Linate is apparently smaller than Malpensa but better done?

I prefer Linate by JetStream Design. It is a very well done airport

JetStream Designs is a really good developer.

Yes, Linate is smaller, but it's a better quality recreation.
I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Thank you.

Linate seems more modern in the design techniques used. Do you have Malpensa also?

I see that Linate runways 18/36 is 2,442 m ( 8,012 ft) so I think it is OK to land there with a 777?

Linate by JetStream Designs all the way!. A wonderful airport and a magnificent work by JSD.

Hope you'll enjoy it.

Yes, with a payload restriction.
Look at section 3.4 of the linked pdfs.

-200 will get into 2,162m (7,093ft) at EGGW.

-300 gets into 2,329m (7,641ft) at EGNT.

Thank again to all!

I'll go for Linate 🙂

F737NG, got it, thank for the tip. I'll check.

Not necessarily realistic but I'll fly a777-300 to Linate either from Paris LFPG or Munich EDDM. It's less than 2 hours of flight and usually I take half passengers. So that should do.

On my side I found a Emirates 777-300 landing at Linate

Here I have both :

- Linate is next to Milano and you will see appartements and other buildings. Very well done

- Malpensa has lots of trees around it and it is also very well made . Closer to the Alps so a very impressive view

I favorite Malpensa as I use PSXT Live Traffic so much more aircraft Traffic

Left or right. You won’t regret either of them...

I suggest the airport close by LIME, stunning airport, I fly cargo -8F out of there.

Just a thought as it’s done better than the two above imo.

both are good actually the new malpensa pro is quite good proformance wise.

Still if you hold out a bit longer Justsim will probably do those two as well as them seem to have a uncontrolable fetish for doing scenery thats already been done by other developers...
