Aircraft config files

Greetings!

I just purchased and installed the ATR72 into P3Dv4.5. Looking in the aircraft folder, I see there are 5 config files. Do I need to rename the "aircraftP3Dv44" to aircraft.cfg?

If your ATR works, why would you want to rename the aircraft.cfg file?

I should have mentioned I only had time to download and install it. Then I had to leave for work. Haven't fired up P3D yet.

I don't think you do anything, the installation process already selects the correct one for your chosen platform.

Anyone have FPS issues on this aircraft as in very low FPS?

So far, I've flown it on about 4 or 5 flights in P3Dv4.5 with Orbx Global and North American Landclass scenery, Rex SkyForce 3D+ActiveSky. Haven't paid attention to what the frames are, but everything has been smooth...even at the default KLAX and KLAS airports. Using Ultimate Traffic for the AI.

I have stutter fps with this plane. The only way to fix it was the press shift+6 and boot the plane in cold and dark.
