No ATC-Chatter-Sound in Pilot2ATC

Recommended Posts

I ijnstalled X-ATC Chatter in Pilot2ATC-program following the video tutorial, but I can not hear the sound of X-ATC.

However, I made the following errors when setting up: In the Programm "Pilot2atc/config/P2A/Sounds" register I have an entry "C:\User\ebh\Desktop"

According to X-ATC Chatter´s instructions, the line should be blank. May be it is not importend for this problem, but I would like to have this line blank. It is not possibly for me to remove it.

That is a bug in the current version that will be fixed in the upcoming update.

For now, you can delete the entry in the AppConfig.xml file located at

C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Settings\AppConfig.xml

where <Username> is you PC User Name.

After opening the file, search for 'RootATCChatter'

Then delete the following lines in the file:

  <AppSetting>
    <Name>RootATCChatterFolder</Name>
    <Value />
    <LastChanged>2018-10-24T11:23:04.1878712-05:00</LastChanged>
  </AppSetting>

Note your file will have a Value, where the above lines do not.

now I have deleted the entry with windows editor. but I still can not hear the sound of ATC Chatter. May be the reason that I do not have the full version.

No, the  trial version should work.

If you email me a screenshot of your folder setup for Chatter and the Config tab for Sounds, I'll see if they seem correct.  email to admin@pilot2atc.com.

I am in the same situation sadly.

Forcing or not the root folder doesn’t changed anything and the charter’s volume is at 80.

the folders tree is like that:

pilot2atc/sounds/atc_chatter/...

with ... as app ctr clr and so on.

Did I miss something to make it works ?

thx

Yes, you need to have the controller sub folders in a folder named controllers, so it should be:

pilot2atc/sounds/atc_chatter/controllers/…..
