No Special Effects In P3Dv4.5

hi,can you help me, don't see any special effect in my p3d i have set the special effects to High.

What special effects are you expecting? surely you are seeing these.. for example all the airplane lighting, airports, tower beacons, etc. use the P3D .FX system..

i did not see any contrails, and some smoke

The effects folder in P3D shows the various effects installed.  According to the Learning Center it controls things like smoke, fountains and fireworks.  I have seen the fireworks at Wash DC and at Las Vegas.  Believe you will see more of the effects at places like Las Vegas.  I have not seen special effects with the fireworks in DC so you may be right that the effects do not work in P3DV4.5.

so there's any fix for the contrails and smoke ? i saw my friends p3d and the contrails is show up.

Old Prop the Chaseplane people have a special effects addon.
