Where are all the new addons?

I agree. I was expecting this summer to see the PMDG NG3, A2A Piper Cub and FSL A321 released. I still hope though..

Its my feeling that the Embraer Ejets Feelthere/Aeroplane Heaven combo is fairly close to release. That looks to be an attractive buy since they are fun to fly. The systems were pretty good on the old version.  Heres hoping. Maybe weeks to a few months is my hunch.

The Carenado machine is still churning.

Meh.  At least for XP11 (my other sim) they can be better than the P3D versions.

Perhaps devs are waiting to see how MSFS turns out?

This may be a factor in the future but I would be surprised if any developers would halt nearly complete projects at this point.

This is not the case, with zero information from MS at this stage in terms of their SDK and how they plan to work with 3rd party devs, the worse decision is to halt production, since we prefer we prefer to plan ahead instead everyone is carrying on as usual with their current product development road maps.

Even though there are very good options in terms of high fidelity aircraft there's so much room for improvement, from classics (e.g. 707, 727, DC-10, L1011, Comet, Tupolev, etc) to newer birds (I'd love to see a A350, E1/E2, MD-11, etc), but unfortunately aircraft is something much more complex to make. Good news is that there are quite a few in the queue.

Must be a doldrums sort of Summer....  I'm not seeing many new releases.  Orbx has been putting out some scenery but I'm specifically thinking of aircraft.  Where are they?  Perhaps devs are waiting to see how MSFS turns out?

Socata Rallye is coming (AH), this month perhaps.

I just want one payware developer to build a good quality rendition of EINN Shannon.

Or marrakech or joburg.

But fear not once they are released Justsim will make another version a month later

For sceneries so far not available it is usually the other way around: if somebody announces it, Justsim will release it some weeks in advance...

If a payware developer wanted to make sure that they had the market for a particular airport all to themselves, then I would avise them to choose EINN Shannon. I don't know what the problem is, but it feels like getting a developer to take on this particular project is akin to arranging a deal with the devil!!
