Direct X9 question

Recommended Posts

I reinstall FSX ( on Windows 10 ) and I am asked to install Direct X9

When searching for Direct X9 I get a file Direct X June2010.

Is this the same thing and where should I install it ?

Thank you

You want the DirectX end-user runtime web installer on the Microsoft website.  It will install DX9 and a number of older dated updates as part of an initial install.

The installer will not ask for a location...the installer should find the appropriate directories in Windows automatically.
