Shorts 360 Is Having Alaskan Fun!

Recommended Posts

Shalom and greetings all my pals,

Presenting a nice scenic approach to and landing on runway 10 of PAWG Wrangell Airport one nautical mile northeast of the central business district of Wrangell which is an Alaskan city that has no road access to the outside world therefore needs lots of cargo hauling supplies by air or water!!

Runway approach to PAWG can be fun navigating through mountains and hills!!

All looks good!

Questions: what sim, FSX or P3DV?

And what airplane model? I bought the Virtualcol Shorts for FSX and was sadly disappointed in the 3D cockpit and they responded to my emails by saying they would do some patches, never did.

I have been wanting a first class Shorts 360 for P3DV4+ and don't know where to find one, if one exists.

Carenado has a S360 for both FSX/P3D.

Excellent I'll head over there now!

I like the write up for the Carenado 360 I have the page open yesterday and did not press buy yet.

So I will have a look at this freeware version, though I am a big fan of very good 3D cockpits so I'll take a look though, thanks.

Bryan

Enjoy my review!!!

I downloaded yesterday and took for a couple flights. What I like best about this plane is that its framerate friendly so that flying over vast urban heavy to autogen areas my sim doesn't up and die on me.

The over head is just photoreal of course and gauges do not have 3D bezels but everything seems to function well for the price is right...lol.

I had one issue related to my Saitek throttle becoming deactivated after some flying which made for some challenge during landing, so I will look into that happened there.
