Katrina recovery...what can we (each of us) do?

I guess with all our faults,and burdened with criticism,both at home and worldwide the US,that means "US! are not such a bad lot.Be it Earthquakes,Erupting Volcano's,Sunamis, wars of liberation against fascists,and now terrorists,some how we do the right thing,and at huge costs in effort and life.Unfortunatly were not perfect.A disaster strikes at home,and in our great desire to fix it quickly,we sometimes turn on our selves.As if embarrassed by the thing.Some among us have very sharp "Pointing fingers" Meanwhile,here on the this forum,the expressions of compassion,humanity,and giving,shows that "US", always do the correct thing,and unselfishly.However there are not so nice people out there, who would now use this as an excuse to engage in enriching them selves.I'm sure this will be addressed to.Thats a Lotta money out there,and it will tempt many. This will not be the end of human tragedy,history shows us that.Natural,or man made ,it will continue to stalk us. Down here in Fla,last year ,we went thru four hurricanes.Many of us here have yet to recover.The pain and rubble of it lingers, and it will for a long time. VIN
