Expectations are only disappointments waiting to happen.

If you expect to be disappointed, you will.

Because if you are not disappointed, you will be disappointed because you're not disappointed. 😄

Are people so bored that they have nothing more to do than to ask such a question?

Are you so bored that you have nothing better to do than make a post criticizing people who have watched the trailer many times?  😉

I can count the times on zero fingers and zero toes!  Too busy minding the store:rolleyes:

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

What trailer?  And you need to have a zero option in the survey. 😉

Obviously we will have some FS9 holdouts here. I'm forced to conclude that they have no choice but to stick with FS9, so they attack FSX, FS2020, and the rest.

But really, it makes absolutely no sense at all, at this juncture, to attack (with snarky remarks) MSFS 2020 (including the trailer).

Would it not be more prudent at this point to welcome MSFS back? Even FS9 holdouts would likely benefit at the success of MSFS, because their FS9 add-ons could finally get a real/permanent price reduction.

Once of course - do you think I'm some sort of weirdo?

Once. I'll judge it once it's released. I think it's premature to speculate, formulate an opinion, or be impressed by the platform solely off of one initial trailer. Lastly, I have a lot invested in P3D, so my migration would be slow in any event.

I've watched it only a couple of times (5 tops) - but I still don't call people investing more time on that names. May we just let them enjoy and look forward to something that makes them happy without getting personal? Thanks.

Twice... then moved on with my life and continued to not treat this like the best thing that's happened to our species since harnessing fire

It looks promising. cautiously optimistic, but things go on as normal.

And the point of asking is?

Probably just a bit of fun.

I've only just seen it and am still in the 'well I never!' phase..
