Qualitywings 787

What do we think about this bird?

A worthy investment for Heavy Metal Drivers seeking high realism?

Doesnt have to uber like PMDG but complex enough to handle a VATSIM flight.

There are already many topics in this forum about the QW787. Just search 787 and I'm sure you'll find your answer. Everyone will have a different opinions. I  love the 787 and it only needs some fine tuning which there working on. It doesn't need a lot of work, just refinements. The radar is being rebuilt and other things are being addressed.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this aircraft.  Agree with Dan.  There are a lot of topics about this aircraft and reading some of those will help you make your decision.

Great aircraft the only thing that bothers me (and they are working on) is the gauges refresh rate

I have the PMDG 737 which is great, the QW 787 pleasantly surprised me when I bought it recently, not quite as much depth but still good and to me it has a good realism feeling from the general environment. I prefer it to fslabs 320 as that kills my framerate but the qw 787 and pmdg 737 don't.

Out of all of the payware aircraft that I own, this one has the most risk to CTD. I have yet to complete a single flight which was more than 4h without a CTD. I repeated each of them with the T7 and no issues at all. I really want to like it.

I haven't had a single CTD ever since the last patch. There was a CTD issue with the weather radar and I had several CTD entering waypoints into the FMC, but none since the last patch.

Does the EFB need a service subscription to fully function like the PMDG 748?  I hope no cause I hate that.
