Looking at GE, the two runways are set  at a 120° angle. The take off or the landing (or both) has to be crosswind and I suppose that the wind can be strong in the Orkneys !

I noticed the police and suspects usually take the airliner, but sometimes the ferry, over to Norway to their headquarters and hideouts.
