Water Visibility

Recommended Posts

Guest Robin.B

In FS2004 when cruising at typical cruise altitudes you can see a sharp line where the water loses all its detail and turns into a big blotch with low resolution reflection. Will this be improved on in FSX? It's not so much the fact that it gets less detailed that bothers me, but more the fact that it cuts off very suddenly. A shallower falloff would be better IMO.What does everyone else think?

I agree. I would like to see the same feasability applied to land, too.

You should probably clarify if that's typical cruise levels for jets, or piston engined aircraft...

I generally fly Jets, so it would be the typical cruise level for jets.

Water needs lot of improvements... and it will go a long way.. No more of Square blocks... If an aircraft gets low and fast.. we should see.... the water wake behind it.:)
