call signs file (c4.csv)

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

using RC since 2006 I never had problems with it. This week - all of a sudden - rcv4.exe aborts with the run-time error 62. I checked the c4.-file finding it empty. no backup "as usual" ...

Can anyone provide the c4.csv file. THX in advance

regards

Probably the easiest thing to do is to download and install a new version of RC4, (especially as it is now freeware).

Intel i7 6700K @4.3. 32gb Gskill 3200 RAM. Z170x Gigabyte m/b. 28" LG HD monitor. Win 10 Home. 500g Samsung 960 as Windows home. 1 Gb Mushkin SSD for P3D. GTX 1080 8gb.

If you can install the downloaded rcv4 install file to an empty folder outside your current one, you should get a copy of the original c4 is the carrier file listing airlines and call signs. It may be called c5.csv. It will be in the rcv5/data folder.

For reading it do not user a database application but just wordpad  text mode but don't save anything with Excel, etc. It can corrupt csv files that rc uses.

Here's what a notepad reading (etracted)would like like:
