FSX on X-BOX 360!!!

At the end he is saying something like the Xbox and Vista will "merge" closer together and basically games should run on both.

Actually if I could still have my CH yoke and pedals, a keyboard and my addons I'd take a $500 Xbox 360 that runs FS very well over a $1500 PC that runs it ok....

>>You should watch the Peter Moore interview at Gamespot.>>>>http://www.gamespot.com/search.html?qs=pet...type=11&type=11>>>>Fyi, it also has flight sim running in the background ;)>>I couldn't sit through all of it - does he eventually mention>MSFS or is the feature of the video the fact that he is>sitting in front of the same video loop that the MSFS team>lead was?>>Thanks I think it's GREAT if they do. Of course you will not have the advantage of any 3rd party developer's offerings and sales for FS in general and when 'ported' from the PC version will do nothing but help the FS series to stay alive and thrive.[h4]Randy J. Has anyone heard about the average number of frame-rates that a good PC System will get with FSX? I Currently run an Intel Pentium 4, at 3 GHz with 1.5 GB RAM and a Radeon X-800 Pro AGP Video Card. I still get slow framerates when I get close to an airport that has some realistic level of detail added. I really hope the FS Team develops the FSX to deliver a minimum of 30 FPS under most simulation conditons. Mark :)

Randy,If I'm reading you right, and you're saying we wouldn't be able to make addons for the Xbox; then I believe you're flat out wrong. That's a ridiculous statement to make. LOL. In fact I think it's easier for users to get addons for consoles then for PC's. The exposure alone would greatly help all 3rd party developers. It would probably be much easier for the customer to get access to them, not to mention the ease of any technical issues given the fact that 'IF' a version was made for Xbox, it would be a fairly light one.We need to stop saying and thinking how hard it would be to do something and just do it. Quit thinking about it. You guys do that way too much. Get out of your little tunnels for just a second and look at the big picture.I think it's very clear now that we have the technology to do what we want to do now with this new version. We may not get everything we want, but we'll get more than enough to make a real run at things in terms of expandability, realism, etc.Sorry to be so harsh, but I'm really going to start taking a tougher stance on these issues in the hopes that we can change our attitudes a little more for the better. You all know that the FS team are here in these forums and very active and outspoken for the first time. When they hear people say that we can't do something on a constant basis, attitudes like that will tend to move right up the chain and we run the risk of them taking the same approach to each and every new issue or version. I don't want to put that mindset in their heads. That's just my opinion, btw.

If you don't own a hard drive version, you can forget it.

Then you just get the addon via whatever other means are available. Surely you've seen other means beside hard drives, right? I doubt we need to go there.

Whoa there Jeff, Don't get so worked up on one guy's opinion. Certainly at present there exists nothing in this regard. It's not like I am against it (LOL). I said I am all for a xbox version and IF 3rd party developers recieve the tools to create add-ons into that format then great. Market is driven by supply and demand, if there is demand and looks to be a market that will thrive then of course it will happen.[h4]Randy J.
