KOAK Oakland Int'l Airport

It's not worth the install in v5.1. Elevation issues all over the place that the inibuilds exclude file does not fix.

Weird I don't have those issues but I use only Global and LC

Probably not supported anymore like Gatwick by Jennasoft?

So could be the developer not responding and / or not supporting the product any longer

in the end, not buying it...

Orbx NCA region causes it.

It appears to be quietly discontinued everywhere. It's a shame, since this is the only payware KOAK scenery that exists for P3D and could be considered "good"...

No one responded to medx421’s post re double coliseums which I also see with Orbx FTX NCA. With the default regional scenery there is only one set and that is so if all default scenery is loaded. So the Coliseum is LM’s and, it seems both Cloudberry and Orbx load a copy in slightly different locations. I have not found a fix except not loading Orbx.

Steve

There was a fix to this that is published over at the FS Developer site.

The problem is known and a scenery exclude file was provided in this thread.link to forum thread

Steve. Let us know if it resolves your issue. I did download KOAK but have yet to install it and so would also like to know if the problem is resolved. I suspect it will be.

Hello All,

I wish to confirm that Cloudberry KOAK v1.1 with Ripcord's 000_EXC_Oakland_Stadiums.BGL000_EXC_Oakland_Stadiums.BGL exclusion file placed in the Cloudberry scenry folder fixes the double coliseum problem with Orbx FTX_NCA regional scenery. The other compatibility fixes are turning off the two files: CVX_KOAK.bgl and LC_1518.bgl in the scenery folder which repairs ground textures near the coliseum.

This is good news!

Thanks.

Do you have a download link for the exclusion file?
I'm having the same problem.

Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space.
Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).

The exclusion file can be found in the link you posted. Look at post #56.

Got it. It works well. Looks much, much better than it did before. Thank you.

I was curious and compared it to the version in MSFS (see below). Different, but nice too.
