sqlservr.exe error after upgrade from win7 to win10

Recommended Posts

hi,

after upgrading from windows 7 to windows 10 by Windows10Upgrade I got the message "the application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142) Click OK to close the application". All other applications and programs (X-Plane, P3D, etc.)  are running without any problems.

Thanks in advance for any hints,

Dscho

I assume you get this error when trying to start Pilot2ATC.  While it is not an error in Pilot2ATC, it is a Microsoft SQL error which Pilot2ATC depends on.

I would suggest you reinstall the full version of Pilot2ATC over the version you have now.  this should install a new version of SQLLocalDB needed by Pilot2ATC.

If this doesn't do the trick, email me (admin@pilot2atc.com) with screenshots of the error message(s) and I can help you diagnose the issue.

Problem solved! Owing to Dave's support it turned out, that sqlservr.exe was not running on my system.
