Yeah - GA Traffic by Marcus Brunner was a tool far ahead of its time and sorely missed... Since moving to P3D - I could never get it to properly scan airports to determine the correct number of parking spaces - for addon airports... 

You could set a % of filled parking - there were costs associated with airports so a Cessna 172 wouldn't wind up at Newark very often - it calculated appropriated distances for AI flights based on class of aircraft - you could specify training operations - it was a deep and well thought out application...

The process to select and deselect aircraft was a tad cumbersome...

I seldom use Bravo's - so I miss GA Traffic dearly...

Obviously the guys at AIG have some seriously talented programmers on board - they're obviously seriously interested in AI Traffic - perhaps we're having this discussion in the wrong forum ?

So i am using flai for vpilot and Vatsim. Does this also work with vatsim?  If yes is it possible to turn off ai traffic when on vatsim but have it run normally when offline?

UT Live's GA traffic looks awful. If you choose to go that route, you can update the models with FTX & other GA models as Dave stated. AIG can be utilized to add missing and outdated airliners & FPs. You can improve the lighting & effects with AI Lights Reborn free edition. There's also a free AI sound package to improve the sounds. Finally, you can fix ATC airliners names with Editvoicepack if you prefer to use default ATC.

No, you need to use P3d v4 versions which are included in the freeware FTX AI traffic package. It's just a simple copy and paste of the model folders.

Or some bizjets as mentioned from Ultimate GA simply using the converted models available from the FTX AI pack. Compared to UTL or any payware traffic where you can't even tell what type of aircraft you are looking at.

 

And then top it all off with some military AI if that suits your fancy. Free from MAIW using their super easy Matrix program for P3d v4.

So far, flying only GA's, I'm personnaly fine with UT Live and replace/update models with the one in the Orbx "AI Traffic North America General Aviation P3Dv4" : https://orbxdirect.com/product/aitraffic-naga-p3dv4

I also use the "replace" approach, as well with the ORBX GA AI Traffic packages (but with UT2). As long as you do not care about GA planes with N or VH registrations flying around worldwide, this is the easiest approach (if you already own UTLive/UT2).

Hi @Dave_YVR - I am gonna activate a slightly old thread - but how did you do this?

I am trying to get GA traffic to be used with VOXATC & AIG in Prepar3d 4.5HF2.  When using VOXATC - I do see Airline Traffic but my GA airports are just plain empty.  If I only install UTLive (omg they models look like from 1995) - then VOXATC doesn't work. 

I need help to make that GA traffic file....

I have mytraffic p3d 5.4C also - do I extract a traffic file from there? or take this HTAI traffic files from Orbx NA Package? I am confused here.

Trying to figure out simple and elegant solution with a quick fix.  I can not spend hours trying to figure this out, I just can not allocate that much time to it.

Anyone who can guide me - your help is appreciated.
