B737-200 Combi Gravel Strip Operation

Join me on this Super Exciting journey onboard NOLINOR B737-200 Combi equipped with Gravel Kit to far North Canada. We are flying 4 sectors from Montreal Mirabel via Val-d'Or and onward to Meadowbank Gold Mine and back. The landing and takeoff at Meadowbank is on gravel so it is spectacular to watch!

NOLINOR Aviation's B737-200 Combi is one of a few B737-200 equipped with EFIS (Digital) display in the cockpit.

Of special interest to me is that, while upgraded to a more modern glass EFIS, and dual FMS, the venerable SP-77 autopilot is still installed! Both the pilot and the FO stated that they enjoy hand flying their aircraft!

This video was just posted a week ago, so it's a fresh look!

I'm amazed how this gravel-kit works! Can't see it working on the Classic/NG's!

I'm glad you guys found it as interesting as I did. Given the years I worked on the MV B737-200 Combi, I was drawn to this video like a fly to honey.

Great video! Love that plane. Love the Milviz version. Don't fly it often enough 😞 Hand flying is where its at. I always find myself landing at idle like the glider pilot I am 😁

Wow that’s a big boy pilot

makes me wanna dig out the MV 200 from waaay back in the hanger..
