Can PSXseecon cause g3d.dll and ntdll.crashes?

Recommended Posts

Hi to all,

I've been getting random g3d.dll and ntdll.dll crashes recently  in mid flight, I never had this in the past. I know it's very hard to investigate these types of errors, I don't want to blame anyone, but is it theoretically possible that these crashes occur if an PSXseecon aircraft is injected (eg. aircraft not found or textures missing etc) into FSX? I use PSX exclusively with the FLAI AI package and MyTraffic 6 . Since I've never had this type of error in the past, can it be that the FLAI package contains bad or old textures (eg FS2004 ones)? Any clarification greatly appreciated, thanks

g3d.dll is a graphics related function (don't bother about nt.dll because the first problem is probably in g3d and it makes nt.dll crash too) and missing or wrong textures might be the cause. So the problem lies outside PSXT, probably in liveries or in sceneries.

MyTrafic 6 is a rather old package, I would suspect that package first. Check the liveries with AI-Aircraft Editor for instance.
