Recommended Posts

Hi, did anyone intercept any anticipations/leaks about a possible v4.6? Thanks.

I haven't personally but as history repeats itself they usually go to the next after.5 releases. So I'm sure we'll get a version 5 next instead of a 4.6

They have gone to P3DvX.6 before and LM if remember said their is plenty of life left in V4, we will have wait and see.

Lol - this reminds me of my old 4.x/v5 speculation thread.

Chances are high for an update as LM & Orbx are working on global fix.  I bet fixing that bug will enable all new ways to Orbx to install outside the sim (which I am absolutely rooting for).

Question is when is the release? everyone is keeping a tight lip about it.  I can bet LM might send off 4.x with some major upgrade before moving to v5 or they can just release v5 right away.

there are hints that there will be another hot fix rather than a new sub version, some one in you tube wrote P3D V4.5.X with his test video, and that was my lead to another hot fix, same pattern was used before the release of HF 1.

that is an educated speculation from my side.

According to their preview forum, Aerosoft is

fighting with the newest compilers from Lockheed at the moment.

Just a little hint. 😉

Good times ahead.

I actually have uninstalled P3Dv4 for the moment, even wiped out a full PCIE SSD m.2 - just waiting on Orbx to fix the global texture issue as LM has to fix the bug.

Just saw Mathijs post - about newest complier.  Why are they always fighting with the newest compliers lol.  It should be we are happily in sync with the newest compliers lol.

I've gotten used to v_.5 being the last iteration before a brand new version.  4.5 is working fine for me.  One big thing on my wish list is for airports that have been built/upgraded in the real world since 2006 to be included as defaults.

Right now the navaids change is from FSaerodata.

Chances could be slim for 4.xxx to have these changes but v5 could be whole new sim with everything different.

Since MS has announced their MS FS 2020 I think they now will first release a V4.6 to have some more time for V5.0.

They know that many people will hold a purchase because they are waiting for the MS FS 2020 release .....

What is the ORBX global issue?

My vote is probably a 4.6 also...

P3D V5 will be released in the same time frame as MS2020... Just my guess
