Anyone noticed since the update that the pushback start and stop is very sudden.

Im sure the push out started nice and slow initially previously.

Nothing has been changed in the *actual* pushback procedure. We only added an easier way to edit the nodes without entering the editor and interrupt the departure workflow.

Thanks for the update. Are their instructions how to use the new custom pushback mode?

I just realized that all vehicles within the editor can now be repositioned with the mouse. Awesome!

The maddog seems more abrupt now but I just pushed back in the PMDG 747 and all was good and smooth.

Also I noticed I get pushed out but over shoots the line and then the tug needs to correct the line from the other side.

I wish that the pushback truck would connect, thereafter ask for pushback direction and start pushback more or less immediately after selecting the direction and switching off the parking brake. This would improve the ground traffic flow much during busy online events.

In real you are expected to start pushback within 30s after receiving pushback clearance, with GSX this is only possible when you select pushback direction before reporting ready for pushback. But then you are lost, if the controller asks for a different pushback direction.

We'll look into that. Right now, our priority is to add a simulation of the actual path ( taking into account the whole airplane+towbar+tug mechanic ), so you can preview it before performing it, so you could perfectly adjust the curve. Shouldn't take long.

I'm really happy to read that you are going to add this feature. Thanks!
