P3DAO does all of that, and more.

You can't compare simStarter and P3DAO. simStarter has much more functions, scenery management is a part of it.

But both are very valuable tools.

Hi Folks,

Yeah - SimStarter - the program you never knew you needed - I was pretty skeptical before my purchase - a program to start P3D - umm - yeah - ok - sure - - - now I don't know how I ever lived without it... Too funny...

Scott

I couldn't sim without LINDA! :)

I agree with Scott- Ditto - (ASP4/ASCA/ENVTEX/ENVSHADE) - I haven't found a better sky cocktail yet...

Do you have to have all of those programs open while in P3D? I used REX/ASP4/ASCA before and there was a sequence to starting the programs before you start P3D. Any input?

chaseplane for me.  It basically made virtual cockpit flying a thing for me.  And the only thing.

You just have to start Activesky, which in turn starts ASCA which shpuld you wish allows you to change textures on the fly (without reliading P3D). You don't run Evntex unless you wish to make those changes before you start the sim.

Interesting no one mentioned PTA. I won't either.

Combo of Chaseplane and TRACKIR does it for me.

You probably haven’t read all posts then.

In my opinion :is a Shader tweaked a must have to create more realism :

I’m sold!

But what if I already have REX Skyforce and Environment Force?

Could I still use the above programs or are they redundant with SF and EF...?
