I just have to say that this is the most entertaining, and unbelievably accurate thing I've seen in 25yrs of flight simming! Been to Las Vegas several times, now I feel like I can visit without gambling!!

In my case compared to EHAM (WITH NE True Earth)  much less demanding.

I have to agree with the OP as well.  This is a beautifully done work of art, even for us GA pilots.  Love taxiing to/from Signature or Atlantic with the big casinos just over the other side of the airport fence.  Love flying into the airport with all of Las Vegas laid out below.  From start to finish, this field offers a great experience.

I’m guessing the performance would be horrible with all that complex scenery autogen of the airport and Las Vegas cityscape combined!

Already getting mid teens at several add-on airports in complex ac like PMDG... (I.E. Orbx Honolulu cityscape with FSDT PHNL).

Would my FPS be any better with this one?

I totally agree, very well done airport and surrounding city. Another good one is KMIA on sale right now through LatinVFR. Also includes the surrounding city.

One quick note unless a recent patch fixed it... If you have the ORBX region (if you don't you should) then there is one file that needs to be removed or the terrain elevation will be off. Just go to the Fly Tampa site and they tell you which file to remove/rename... easy quick fix.    Enjoy!

Just for reference on my 2700K OC to 46Ghz, I get roughly 18-20 fps in FT KLAS. I have most settings enabled including PBR. I disabled static airliners and most scenery animation except Airport shuttle. Apron traffic set to realistic, and apron detail set to very sparse. 

Certainly acceptable with PMDG and I'm sure performance is another 10 frames with 9700K.

I just picked up Latin VFR KMIA on sale!

 

It looks amazing but getting 15-9 FPS on runway with PMDG AC.  View panning in VC stutters noticeably... Bummer!

 

At FSDT KFLL getting at least 22-24 for comparison.

I like to take a helicopter, low and slow. The animations and changing billboards are simply unbelievably accurate!! The road traffic moves at a more believable speed. I have never even checked my FPS, because it's so smooth as is. When people tell me where they have stayed, it's there!! Unbelievable. LOVE IT!!!

I guess fireworks are excluded, but the trade off is a no brainer, considering the overall experience.

Thanks Rob, actually EHAM is the best FT product for me in terms of performance on P3D V4.5, so this is a kind of benchmark for me when it comes to comparison with other products...

Totally agreed.. coming in from the east the other day, flying over the strip and setting up for a landing on 19L....trying to concentrate on procedures but staring down out the cockpit window at the 'strip' below, spotting the water fountain show in progress at the Belagio....AWESOME !!  Just fantastic.
