Precipitfx and Special Effects slider P3Dv4...

Does the in sim “Special Effects” slider have any effect on the default precipitfx Effects?

 

Does reducing the slider reduce the effects etc...

Yes it mentions FSX only and states to have Special Effects slider at High.  Does the same apply to P3D?

 

Need to lower my slider setting another notch bc if low fps...
