I recall seeing steps on upgrading correctly.  Can someone point me in the right direction?  I am currently on 4.4 so my guess is that I would have to find 4.5, install that, then download and install the hotfix?  Would any other add on need to be reinstalled in terms of airports, planes (FSL, PMDG)?  Thanks

No, if you download the latest version of 4.5 it will contain HF2 already.

So in your case the upgrade is quite straight forward.

Yes I do have FSDT KORD. But I won't have time to test it until sometime tonight (I am in the same time zone as you).

The news item (link in this thread) has been pulled, but the download is still available if you log in to LM downloads. ( as of 9:20 EDT)

32097 will not install and that is probably why it was pulled.  Maybe the full thing will install but I just tried the client.

Thanks.  Was there some sort of thread that had directions on doing it correctly?  I only ask this because I don't want to do something that would require a full reinstall of everything I have.... I thought there used to be a thread on here but It might have been somewhere else

uninstall current client, install new client. Be wary that it might be a corrupt download or might not install. I'd wait if I were you.
