Looking for a good single engine aircraft for Prepar3d v4,5

Recommended Posts

Freeware or payware, it matters not.. I have always used the Carenado C210, but in will not work in Prepar3d v4.5. I want something similar if possible, with the old fashioned "Steam" gauges. Terry.

The Bonanza is really good.  I have mine with RXP GTN's!

My personal favorite is the old RA Legacy.  You can decide for yourself if you meet the license criteria:

There's a really neat radial from A1R design (Google them they have a few products)

Just flight makes some great piston singles as well like the Arrow and Turbo Arrow.

I will never lose an opportunity to extol the virtues of the An-2.  She is a one of a kind delight, and I return to her brilliant FDE often.  Bewitched, bewildered and beguiled am I.

What doesn't work? I fly the 210 in v4.5 fairly often. Admittedly it is getting a little long in the tooth and frankly I have also been considering a replacement; but, I haven't noticed anything not working in the 210.

Hey Terry nice to see you here.

A2A is the way to go . My favorite is the Texan T6, the canopy gives you a great view outside of the cockpit and flying a taildragger is always interesting. For a faster and more conventional aircraft I would recommend their Piper Comanche.

If you’re not in a hurry to get anywhere then Just flight’s new PA38 tomahawk is my current favourite.

I keep singing it’s  praises, but every once in a while something comes along that captures the feel of a real aircraft so perfectly it becomes an instant classic. This is one such aircraft.

If you want to really test your flying and especially landing skills, the T6 Texan will do the trick. Real T6 pilots say it behaves just like the real one.

The problem is not so much the landing but the rollout 😁
