Re the popup.. what happens if you push shift+8?

If you used the Carenado exe app to select the GTN750 in the panel, this should trigger a popup to appear.

Just to back up.. did you run   F1GTN750PA31TII.exe  to select the GTN option?

And if yes, how did you get the RealityXP GTN to appear instead of the original?

I am sure we can help you through this.. if we understand the situation in more detail..

Thank you, but what about the weather tab?

Weather is not supported, but Traffic you can enable.

Once you've got the popup working, you can access the options window from there, or in the meantime, you can open the RealityXP.GTN.ini file with Notepad, and add this line

UseRyanTcad = true

to the first GTN750 section.

RXP,

I don't know what I did, but thank you!  I really appreciate the help, especially during the weekend.  The only issue is the unit in the panel is not centered but at this point, I'll live with that.

Bert,

Also appreciate your help as well

Thanks,

Chris

Chris,

Check your panel.cfg file... this is what it should be:

[Vcockpit01]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=1024,1024
visible=1
pixel_size=1024,1024
texture=$Panel_1

gauge00=rxpGTN!GTN_750_1, 0, 0,667,794,NO_BEZEL

So  I found it and I made the change but it won't allow me to save it?

[Vcockpit01]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=1024,1024
visible=1
pixel_size=1024,1024
texture=$Panel_1

gauge00=rxpGTN!GTN_750_1, 0, 0,512,372,NO_BEZEL
gauge01=PA31TCAR!ToggleCAR530,     64,0, 256, 32

Those are indeed incorrect coordinates and need changing.

While you are at it, delete the gauge01 line! You are running a GTN750, not a GNS530..

Are you running as Administrator?  Do you have Windows options set that prevent you from saving?

Someone who knows Windows10 jump in here, please!

How strange that you should mention this. I've just spent the last hour or so trying to find an answer to W10 not giving me permissions.

I am an Administrator. Every new aircraft that needs either the panel.cfg or the aircraft.cfg has to have the permissions changed.

Brief tutorial:

1:Right click on the offending file

2:Select Properties

3: Select the Security tab

4: Select yourself from the top panel list and click 'Edit'

5: Click in the 'Allow' column. This will put a check/tick in all the little boxes.

6: Click 'Apply'

You'll have to do this for every new file that you need to edit.

Those of you who know how to suck eggs ignore this post.

P.S. Nobody on the Microsoft forums have any ideas as to how to cure this. Well, there as as many 'cures' as there are posters. :smile:
