Lack of multi screens in MSFS2020 :(

Not sure what game support this feature. LM was thinking to add this feature into P3D but never made it.

Sadly I have no idea about game programming. I'd like to know at which level this is implemented in the graphics engine. Is this more like a drivers thing on the actual engine or do you have to implement it from scratch. How can you find out about this.

This is awesome and new to me. Which game does support this at the moment?

I don't typically spend time watching such presentations, but I have to admit that "simultaneously multi-projection" does sound interesting...

Now the presenter's on the other hand... on the other hand... habit of repeating himself was very annoying!

Am I confused? Even with Fs2004, we could undock windows & move them to another screen &/or projector. Or anm I thinking of something else?

If I was interested in multi screens, I would probably Punt and go with something like this rather than having actual screens that I had to worry about bezels and things like that.

I bought a very similar one (granted, half the refresh rate, but still a respectable 120Hz - 49" - 5120x1440) for 650 Euros on eBay. It was listed as "B-Ware", but it was packed as new and looked as such.

Has anyone heard if there will be multi monitor support when FS2020 comes out?

I am really looking forward to it.  3 monitor support is a must for me though because of my cockpit setup.  I am running XP11 right now, but I had to do a lot to get things to look right.  Getting tired of mucking with addons to get it to look good though.  Multi monitor, with adjustable camera positions for each monitor would make things soooo much easier.

Here is a video of my cockpit from about a year ago.  I have done more since then, but have not done a video lately.

Per the Discovery Episode video linked earlier in the thread, yes, multiple monitors will be supported.

I missed that link.  That is great to hear!  Looking forward to getting it.  Now just to get AirManager working on it, and I will be all set.  I hope it performs and looks as good as the videos!

Hold RIGHT ALT over any MFD panel and click left click when it turns into a magnifying glass.  MFD pops out to a separate window and can be moved around.  😉

Still working on figuring out views though.

MSFS 2020 I am using 3 monitors with Trippleheadtogo. Works fine. I fly with the Solo Panel from Virtualfly (only singel prop) The problem is that I cannot find front outside view like we had in P3d and FSX. Only the esc key which shows the aircraft from the back. I gave up MSFS because in this way it is incompatable with interfaced panels. Microsoft does not gives a solution. Sticking with P3d V5 untill I can solve this problem
