No Bridges FREMANTLE Western Australia

Featured Replies

Hi anyone that can advise me,

Does anyone have bridges in and around Fremantle and Perth?

I'm sure I had the two bridges out of Fremantle in Orbx AusV1 with BlackMarble, the Railway bridge and Stirling Bridge.

I've since upgraded to Ausv2, refreshed BlackMarble, but very limited bridges?

I'm also sure I had bridges heading into Perth, but they have disappeared or my New added YPPH Photoreal scenery by MFSG has covered them.

Could someone with Ausv2 have a fly over the Swan River entrance and see if they have any bridges, sorry to clog up the system with such a minor detail?

Kind Regards

Brian Baxter

Hi Brian,

I have Ausv2 installed but I don't have the YPPH scenery you mentioned. From the entrance of the Swan, I have a railway bridge, then two bridges for routes 12 and 5. Then further up the Swan, there's more bridges for routes 6,1, and 7. The bridge for route 6 is not very distinct. Sorry I don't know the names for these bridges, am just going off Google maps. Hope this helps.

Maybe you could try disabling the YPPH scenery and see if that makes a difference?

Cheers,

Hugh Costello

Not wanting to hijack this but as you guys are discussing Perth.I have Australia V1 and was just wondering if V2 is worth upgrading to, comparing  the  Perth area specifically. I’ll probably never fly anywhere else in the Australia scenery, just around Perth, I was a student pilot out of Jandakot in the early 90s. Thanks

Yes AUSv2, is well worth the upgrade, with ORBX YPJT and MFSG`s YPPH, and MFSG`s YRTI.

V2 really is a huge makeover.

I solved my problem by setting up ORBX GLOBAL VECTOR, with everything, ie roads, bridges etc and deactivating MARBLEBLACK.

You wont be disappointed, its a great combination.

Sorry Jon,

Forgot to say, Ozx, up to 3.5, also gives you a lot a landmarks around Perth and WA, it’s free. You’all get such thingss as Henderson shipyard, grain terminal Rockingham, Alcoa Waroona, the dams in the Hills and much more. Just place it higher in order than Orbx.

Flukeys FIFO Airports, and mine sites, are available free, here on Avsim Library, very, very nice.

Good Luck

Brian
