[Altimeter setting] after updating RAAS in P3Dv4

Recommended Posts

Hello, after updating RAAS (to v.2.9.92.162), I notice the call-out 'Altimeter setting'  when climbing and descending. In the profile the transition altitude is set to 18.000 ft. So above 18.000 no issues. Both checkmarks are enabled, and I have this issue both with the Aerosoft Airbus professional and QW 787.

Any help would be appreciated!

I'm not sure what your issue is.. Please elaborate.

Sorry if I was not clear. Transition altitude is 18.000ft. If I go below I set the QNH by using the B button... Normally this is working fine, but now RAAS gives a call-out?

RAAS does have an option for the Transition if you forgot to set your altimeter to standard.  The real RAAS has this option.

I'm still not sure what the issue issue is, but if you want disable that callout you can do so via the RAAS menu.

Cheers,

I would not expect this call-out, since I was below transition altitude and baro was set correctly...

Did you manually enter the TA/TL in the RAAS window?

I checked, it was already set to FL180 (18.000 ft). My last flight went OK, so maybe it was a hick-up. Will monitor this for the near future.
