Error 2.67FH2

Hello Matt!
I have done complete new install Client HF2
Got Error with the new PTA when i Open the App:

Prepar3D directory found at I:\Prepar3D v4\
Prepar3D 4.5.13 build 32097 detected as target verson
Shaders cache directory found at C:\Users\Thomas\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Shaders\
Prepar3D main configuration file found at C:\Users\Thomas\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Prepar3D.cfg
ERROR: shader file I:\Prepar3D v4\ShadersHLSL\PostProcess\HDR.hlsl is not original Prepar3D shader and can't be used

Interesting.

Are you running a clean install of PTA too? I've tested it a good handful of times from clean and it seems to be fine.

thanks for reply.
have deinstalled client, installed new clientHF2. have downloadet an registered my 2.67,
there are only 4 Files and 2 folders now in the 2.67, is clean install:

Can you go into your P3D/ShadersHLSL/PostProcessing folder, right click > properties on the HDR.hlsl file and post a screenshot where I can see the file size of it please?

Go inside that folder, then right click on the HDR.hlsl file and show the properties of it please 🙂

There is your issue.

You don't have the original shader - you have one that is from a version back in July.

You can reinstall the client to fix this, but before you do, make sure you delete that ShadersHLSL folder.

Hi Matt,

The weird thing is that I made a clean copy of the ShadersHLSL folder right after installing HF2, and I also have the 29 July version of the file there...

Could LM have updated the HF installer "behind the scenes" since the initial release?

No, its not, i hace deinstalled client. the folder was gone, i have downloaded NOW the client install file from LM and installed it again,

Nope, I˙ve just downloaded it once again, performed a fresh client only re-install, but still getting the same error message.

Yes, I can confirm that, I also re-downloaded the client installer in the meantime... Looks like there's a version mismatch... What size and date is your HDR.hlsl, Matt?
