Error 2.67FH2

Matt: Im using Academic Version. Do you have Pro-Version, so maybe other shaders? So it could be an LM issue in the Academic Installer?

Same problem here and I just did a clean reinstall of the client to rebuild the ShadersHLSL folder. All files except HDR.HLSL have a file date of 01/14/2019 while that file has a date of 7/29/2019. I know they are correct since I did an install and reinstall of the HF2 client. Confirmed I am on HF2 -- Prepar3D_v4_Academic_4.5.13.32097.

Well this is awkward...

I do not 😄 My file is from September.

I need to do some more digging - it seems to be happening to a handful of people, so there must be something different with the way you're doing it vs everyone else.

I will look in to this first thing in the morning and see what is what.

my suggestion it make a new Prepar3D.cfg file and not use the one from previous builds in th C:\User|AppData|LocheedMartin\P3D4 folder.

rename the current one Prepar3D.old and let P#D build a new one.

Thanks for the idea but have done that with negative results. For some reason a different version of that file exists for some of us. The version of INSTALL_CLIENT.MSI I downloaded from LM's site has a file date of 9/24/2019 at 9:25pm. Matt noted that his version of the HDR.HLSL file has a date of September which should match the date of the HLSL file. I am going to redownload the client only and see if anything if different.

Regards,

P.

Matt -- when you installed the HF2 client, did you also install the content and scenery files also? I only did the client.

I have installed P3D Academic Full new one week ago, so i got altitude troubles on some airports with client update only. (Other discussion in P3D forum)

so its Not an issue with content, the shaders are inside the client installer.

i also have no REX EF. Installed, also no tomato or other shader Tools.

Mine was a clean install (Pro). I made a copy of the "untouched" shader folder right after installing for that precise reason: to keep it intact in case there are any incompatibilities...

*** REDOWNLOAD THE 2.67 VERSION ***

That *should* fix the issues you're having. Make sure you have clean shaders before trying it.
