RH, The only double jetways I have ever seen are like the ones in the top right corner of the the picture that go to the forward cabin. I think someone might have a pretty good idea here.Terry

Southwest Airlines has used dual jetbridges (forward and aft cabin) for a few years at some of their airports.

That's the first "over wing" picture I've seen. That looks like possible planning for the A380.I've seen / flown a B747 in Japan where three jetbridges were used - two forward and one aft - think it was a test at Haneda trying to improve turnaround of the 500+ pax flights. Might have been Osaka.It's been 20 years so I'm a bit fuzzy on details.I do remember landing at Rome in a PAA B747 and there were four sets of covered mobile stairs used to empty the plane.

LOL, those were installed some 30 years ago specifically to cater 747s.I'm not sure if Schiphol was the first airport to use them, but I've since seen them elsewhere.
