October 24, 20196 yr Nice set of screenshots. Good looking C130., but no markings? No Star of David? Very covert! October 24, 20196 yr I know the Israeli's love a challenge but placing two huge cooling towers at the threshold seems to be a bit overboard. Great screenshots! Mark CYYZ
October 26, 20196 yr Author Highbypass, MJW25, and MarkW, Thanks for your very kind words On 10/24/2019 at 3:20 PM, MarkW said: I know the Israeli's love a challenge but placing two huge cooling towers at the threshold seems to be a bit overboard. Great screenshots! @MarkW, Great to hear from you!!!!! Long time no hear!!! Hope all is well with you and are you still doing VATCAN controller coverage? First of all, it is NOT two cooling towers. As I indicated in my flight screenshot report, those are oil refineries. Second of all, it is not at threshold. It is optical illusion. The two oil refineries are 3 blocks away. Third of all, here is as seen below the map that shows DISTANCE between the Hafia airport runway and the two refineries Regards, Aharon
October 27, 20196 yr Thanks for the explanation Aaron. The optical illusion made it look like they were right on the runway!. Anyway, hope you are doing well, I am still controlling in Toronto and flying as well when I have time. Take care! Mark CYYZ
October 29, 20196 yr Author Aussieflyer38, Thanks for your kind words. Mark W, Good to hear that you are still doing controlling for VATCAN. Regards, Aharon
