I know the Israeli's love a challenge but placing two huge cooling towers at the threshold seems to be a bit overboard.  Great screenshots!

Great to hear from you!!!!!   Long time no hear!!!  Hope all is well with you and are you still doing VATCAN controller coverage? 

First of all,  it is NOT two cooling towers.  As I indicated in my flight screenshot report, those are oil refineries.

Second of all, it is not at threshold.  It is optical illusion.  The two oil refineries are 3 blocks away.

Third of all, here is as seen below the map that shows DISTANCE between the Hafia airport runway and the two refineries

Thanks for the explanation Aaron.  The optical illusion made it look like they were right on the runway!.  Anyway, hope you are doing well, I am still controlling in Toronto and flying as well when I have time.  Take care!
